Art

I am not an artist by any means. I never have even taken an art class except for quite a few pottery classes I guess. But since it has been raining so much I decided to take up a project for Scarlet's nursery. My husband has NO faith in my painting skills but he was pleasantly surprised! They do look cute hung up on the wall. I am going to add ribbon to the top of each to match her bedding once that is made.

Garden

We have gotten a TON of rain in the past week. If anyone knows me knows that I LOVE the rain! It actually rained on the day I found out I was pregnant and the day of my first ultrasound and it was pouring last week on the way to the 19 week ultrasound! In a weird way it brings me a sense of PEACE.....

With all of this rain coming my Garden is GROWING! I took pics this morning! Pretty soon I am going to have so many cucumbers and tomatoes than I know what to do with.... here are some pics!

Scarlet Christine!!!

This is the 20 week shot people! Please excuse the MATERNITY bathing suit top! They are all ugly but had to get one since I am always outside and well it is comfortable!

I went for a 19 week ultrasound last week and we found out that we are expecting a little girl! I KNEW it was a girl since day one.... i guess it is the mommas "instinct" kicking in. We are very excited! We are going to name her Scarlet Christine Wales. She is up all the time and starting to pack a punch behind those kicks and punches. She looked awesome during the ultrasound! I actually was scared that she was going to be sleeping at the appt and we wouldnt be able to find out what the sex was. So on the way to the docs I drank a SMALL frap from the ol starbucks...hehe.... That is the first one I have had since being preggo... And the doctor commented on how she was the MOST active baby ever! My doc had jusst gotten a new ultrasound machine in and it was awesome!! The pics though did not come out well of her so I am not going to post them. Sorry!=)

I gained 3 more pounds.... I was pleased with that I guess. I have been feeling great other than when Scarlet decides to be a flamethrower for the day. So I have been trying to document what I eat. i HATE heartburn and besides that I am only 20 weeks!!!! HALFWAY there!!!!!!

Dear Designer Jeans,

The time has come dear jeans. You will be sorely missed. I can no longer fit into you. You know longer button up and lord knows i cant sit down with you on anymore. I have to move you to a bin for a while and hope that this wont change our relationship. You are my favorite thing to shop for. You are always there for me in time of need. You wont be gone forever though and I will take you out from time to time for inspiration for us to get back together. And we will be back together one day I promise you that. But this is goodbye for now. Thank you for being there through the years. My hiney will miss you.

Summer is HERE!

My first MOTHERS DAY(well almost) was awesome! Joe came home Thursday night and didnt have to leave until Monday afternoon! It was awesome to spend that much time with my husband! On Friday I presented him with a lovely list of my honey do's and boy did we work our butts off to get them done this weekend! I had him replant my garden in a different area this year and it is so PRETTY! I will take pics soon.

We also went to our pool and got tons of sun as I am trying to "brown dat belly" (this is what Joe always says=) We met our new neighbors and they brought us over dinner Saturday night in honor of Mothers Day! Here is a pic of Montana in the yard while we were working this weekend.... He HATES the heat but he sits out there as long as he can!

17 weeks!

18 WEEKS!! (start of my 5th MONTH!!!)

I am 18 weeks TODAY!!! AHHHHH!!!! Time is FLYING by!

Ok I am behind on updating belly pics.... so here they are! I am feeling GREAT! I actually LOVE being preggo right now and hopefully will feel like this until the time comes for this little one to come into this world!

The NEWEST update on Tator tot is I started feeling the twists turns kicks and punches! Everyday the little bugger is more and more active and it is awesome to feel and see.... Tator is actually rollin around as I type this!

May 20th is coming soon and cant wait to find out the sex! Stay tuned!
